Ghanaian rapper, Obibini, has named rapper Gemini as his all-time favourite rapper.
He described ‘Never forget me’ hitmaker as talented and creative and tops his all-time favourite rappers list.
The likes of Chymini, T-Flow, Strongman, Sarkodie, and Manifest were mentioned in his final list. He also mentioned Amakye as one rapper who would be able to hold the mantle for rapping in Ghana.
The Zylofon Music label signee went ahead to recall how he was verbally attacked for his association with Menzgold, described by financial analysts as close to a ponzi scheme.
The rapper and musician said in an interview with Accra-based Rainbow Radio that, people took to his social media pages to attack him for being on the label of the beleaguered owner of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah.
“Any time I go online, people attack me. You have a few people who would be rude when posting something online. But I understood the game. Normally I don’t reply to these messages. I understood the game.”
