The burial service for the late former Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy, is currently underway at the forecourt of the State House.
The memorial service is attended by various National Heads, Area Heads, and Officers from countries where the Church operates.
Apostle Ntumy dedicated his life to the ministry, beginning at age 26 and later serving as chairman for two terms from 1998 to 2008.
Despite facing numerous challenges, including being held hostage during the Liberian Civil War and surviving attacks on his life, Apostle Ntumy continued his service with resilience.
He was also known for his literary contributions, authoring several books and playing a key role in writing the church’s spiritual publications.
A retirement service was held for Apostle Ntumy in September 2023, in Hamburg, Germany, marking the end of his 39-year ministry.
