Fulham send goodwill message to former player John Paintsil following car accident

English Premier League club Fulham FC have expressed its support for their former defender John Paintsil following a car accident in his native Ghana over the weekend.

The accident occurred while returning to Accra after attending the Ghana Super Cup match between Ghana league holders FC Samartex and FA Cup winners Nsoatreman FC at the TNA Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars are scheduled to resume training on Monday to prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

The availability of the coaching staff for today’s session remains though they have reportedly joined joined.
