Fuel Prices: Petrol remains stable, diesel up slightly in October 2023
Some Oil Marketing Companies(OMCs) have adjusted prices of petroleum products slightly at the pumps for the first pricing window of October 2023.
Prices of petrol have remained stable, but diesel has inched up at most of the OMCs.
Shell is selling diesel for GH¢13.95, a slight increase from the previous GH¢13.65, with petrol remaining the same at GH¢13.49.
Goil is selling a litre of petrol for GH¢13.60 and diesel for GH¢13.95 with no change in the prices.

Star Oil, another major player in the industry, has increased its prices, selling a litre of petrol at GH¢12.39, while diesel is going for GH¢13.39.
Other major oil marketing firms have yet to change prices at the pumps almost five days after the October 2, 2023, deadline.
In the second pricing window of September 2023, petrol prices went down while diesel prices went up.

Some of the OMCs have indicated that they are still monitoring the market before reviewing their prices.
Earlier, the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC) predicted that fuel prices would likely remain stable for the first pricing window of October 2023.
