Founding President of IMANI Centre for Policy and Education, Franklin Cudjoe has chastised the current administration for failing in the fight against corruption despite several promises made to fight the canker in the build up to the 2016 general elections.

Franklin Cudjoe believes the Akufo-Addo government has “lowered the bar” much further than used to be the case under his predecessor, John Dramani Mahama as far as the fight against corruption is concerned.

His comments come on the back of a directive by the Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority to resign allegedly over procurement breaches.

Emmanuel Sin-nyet Asigri, according to a report by pro-government newspaper, The Daily Statesman, was asked to resign from his post over a reportedly ‘bloated’ sole sourced contract.

In a Facebook post, Franklin Cudjoe expressed worry over the recent development pondering if the situation was going to get better anytime soon.
