Four more die of COVID-19, case count now 9,168
Four more people have died from the novel coronavirus in Ghana, bringing the death toll to 42 from an initial 38.
Per the update, 283 new COVID-19 cases were recorded within 24 hours. The fresh coronavirus infections increased the country’s total case count to 9,168.
The statistics are in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Friday.
A total of 268 people recovered, pushing the total COVID-19 recoveries to 3,457.
Twenty (20) people are in critical condition.
Greater Accra, Ashanti and Western Region remain the top three with the most COVID-19 infections.
