Former Kotoko defender Empem Dacosta joins Ashantigold
AshantiGold SC have completed the signing of defender Empem Dacosta on a free transfer.
AshantiGold sealed the acquisition of the former Asante Kotoko SC defender on Wednesday following fruitful negotiations.
The versatile defender joins the Miners’ to strengthen their squad as they take a trip to Africa for the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Dacosta parted ways with Asante Kotoko after refusing the club’s decision to move on loan to Legon Cities for the upcoming season.
The 23-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors in July 2019 from Karela United FC.
Dacosta helped Karela United to secure promotion to the Ghanaian top-flight league in 2017.
