FIFA, GFA goalkeeper coaching course to begin on Monday
The Ghana Football Association (GFA)’s technical directorate has announced that a five-day coaching course for goalkeeper trainers will begin on Monday, 25th July 2022.
Goalkeeper trainers of all the national teams and a few trainers from the various leagues in the country will participate in the course.
25 goalkeeper trainers in all have been selected to take part in the course which will run from Monday until Friday, July 29, 2022.
The GFA has asked all chosen participants to report to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 4 pm “with their laptops and training kits.”
“FIFA Instructor Mr Alejandro Heredia will lead the course sessions with assistance from Bernard Lippert, Technical Director, Prof. Joseph Kwame Mintah, Director of Coaching Education and Maxwell Ceasar Kemeh, the Administrative Manager and other Course Coordinators,” a statement from the GFA said.
“This course forms part of the GFA’s plan to improve the goalkeeping department of the game in Ghana.”
