FC Samartex new signing Kofi Agbesimah eager to excel in debut season

FC Samartex’s new signing, Kofi Agbesimah has disclosed that he is ready to give his best to the club in his debut season.

The defender signed for the Ghana Premier League champions in July after leaving Hearts of Oak.

Speaking to the media team of FC Samartex, Kofi Agbesimah said he is not feeling any pressure at the new club.

He appealed to the fans for support to ensure the team performed well in the CAF Champions League.

“I don’t feel any pressure at all. As a footballer, if you are scared of pressure you cannot succeed. I want the fans to support us with goodwill so that we can do very well in Africa,” Kofi Agbesimah said.

The highly-rated defender continued, “I want to play in as many pre-season matches as possible so that I can do well when the season starts.”

Kofi Agbesimah featured for FC Samartex today when the team thrashed Nsoatreman FC 4-0 in the first match of the 2024 Nsenkyire Cup.
