Fantasy Dome CEO threatens legal action following demolition of structure

Leslie Quaynor, the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the famous event center, Fantasy Dome has threatened to seek legal redress over the demolition of the facility.

Mr. Quaynor, in an interview, alleged the Ghana Trade Fair Company connived with the National Security for the operation.

CEO of the dismantled facility disclosed that he invested a substantial amount of $5 million into establishing the event center five years ago which is now valued at $25 million.

He also narrated how the bulldozers wrecked his properties despite obtaining an injunction in January this year to avoid any damages.

“About an hour and a half ago, I was trying to reach my security team, but I couldn’t reach them so I decided to come by, only to find out that the Trade Fair Company, under the protection of the National Security, razed down my facility. With 4 or 5 bulldozers, they just came, and within an hour, they just destroyed it” he noted in an interview with Sammy Flex.

According to him, he will resort to legal means to resolve the issue rather than attacking his opponents with force.

“Whatever the reason is, we should be able to handle this in court; that is why we have the court. National Security cannot protect government institutions from doing this. When I got here, the person in charge of National Security, was Captain Frimpong. He told me that the national security had been directed here by the CEO of the Trade Fair to protect the demolition,” Mr. Quaynor added.
