Fancy Gadam: I will support both Bawumia and Mahama in their presidential bid
Fancy Gadam has expressed excitement as the nation, for the first time in history, has flagbearers of both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC), hailing from the northern part of the country.
In a recent interview, the ‘Total Cheat’ hitmaker stated that it was an ‘out of the world’ feeling to have Ghana’s next president possibly come from the northern part of the country again after Dr Hilla Limann and John Dramani Mahama.
The Tamale-based musician made it clear that irrespective of their political affiliations, the people from the northern part of the country were ready to support any candidate from that part vying for the presidency.
“It feels good to have the next president coming from the North, but it is almighty Allah that does whatever he wants,” he stated in an interview with Property FM in Cape Coast.
Acknowledging the role of divine will in the unfolding of events, Fancy Gadam added, “No man can question God, so the only thing we have to do is wish everybody well, be it a candidate for NPP or NDC.
“As far as President Mahama and Dr. Bawumia are both coming from the North, we are going to support both of them,” he added.
Aside from ‘Total Cheat’, Fancy Gadam is known for songs like ‘Dakanda’, ‘Heart and Soul’, ‘Block and Delete’, and ‘Korkorko’.
