Former Accra Mayor, Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, has remarried seven years after he lost his wife.
At a solemn ceremony at Mamprobi in Accra today, Mr Vanderpuije engaged one Cynthia Amerley Ayiku.
The bride was adorned in a glamorous white and gold gown while the MP beamed with smiles in his all white Kaftan.
The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South lost his late wife, Gifty Naa Adei Vanderpuije, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in June, 2012.
They were married for thirty (30) years.
Meanwhile, the MP for Kumbungu Ras Mubarak has taken to his Facebook page to congratulate his colleague Member of Parliament.
“My dear brother and colleague, Hon. Alfred Oko Vanderpuije ties the knot this weekend. It’s never too late to love. “He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.” Congratulations in advance” his post read.
