Ex Techiman City FC President unimpressed with poor state of buses donated by GFA [VIDEO]

Former President of Techiman City Football Club, Charles Ntim, popularly known as Mickey Charles, criticized the Ghana Football Association (GFA) regarding the poor condition of the buses donated to Access Bank Division One Clubs by the GFA.

The GFA presented buses to nine Division One clubs during a brief ceremony at the Accra Sports Stadium, attended by GFA President Kurt Okraku.

This donation was meant to fulfill Okraku’s promise made at the 29th Ordinary Congress in Kumasi in 2023.

In his speech during the presentation, Kurt Okraku stated, “This initiative is part of our broader strategy to empower clubs and ensure the sustainable development of the game.”

Clubs such as New Edubiase FC, Okwawu United, Basake Holy Stars, and Vision FC, which are currently competing in the Ghana Premier League, were among the beneficiaries.

However, a video circulating on social media features Mickey Charles expressing his frustration over the poor condition of the bus provided to the clubs.

American-based Ghanaian sports journalist Seidu Adamu shared photos of the interior of one of the buses, highlighting a worn-out section of the driver’s seat and pedals.
