Ghanaian singer Moliy continues to raise the bar on the global music stage, becoming the first Ghanaian artiste to earn a nomination at the American Music Awards.

The milestone achievement marks a significant moment not only in Moliy’s career but also for Ghana’s music industry as it signals increasing international recognition for Ghanaian talent.

Known for her distinct sound and genre-blending style Moliy has steadily carved a niche for herself beyond the African continent.

Moliy stands alongside some of Africa’s biggest musical exports including Tyla, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Rema, a lineup that underscores the strength and global appeal of African music.

Her nomination at the American Music Awards places her among some of the most influential and celebrated artistes worldwide further cementing her status as one of the rising global voices from Africa.

As Moliy continues to push creative boundaries this recognition reinforces her upward trajectory and positions her as a key figure in the global evolution of Afrobeats and alternative African sounds.
