Emmanuel Yeboah nets hat-trick to lead Black Meteors to beat Zamalek FC 4-1

The Ghana U23 team on Tuesday put on a fine display to beat Zamalek FC 4-1 in a friendly match.

The Ghana U23 team nicknamed the Black Meteors, has been in Egypt since last week as part of a pre-tournament training tour ahead of the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Last Thursday, Ghana drew 1-1 with Egypt in the first friendly match.

Today, the Black Meteors locked horns with African giants Zamalek FC in a second and final friendly match before the start of the U23 AFCON next weekend.

In a game played at the Zamalek Sports Complex, the Black Meteors played some fantastic football and cruised to a delightful 4-1 win at the end of the contest.

It was all thanks to a superb performance from striker Emmanuel Yeboah who scored a sensational hat-trick to guide his side to victory.

After the friendly today, Ghana is not turning attention to the U23 AFCON. At the tournament, the Black Meteors have been pitted in Group A where they will face host nation Morocco, Congo, and Guinea.
