Election 2020: Sarkodie, Samini endorse Akufo-Addo

Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, known in showbiz as Sarkodie has endorsed President Akufo-Addo ahead of the December polls.

The ‘Ofeetso’ hitmaker had been rumoured to be an NPP sympathizer after he called out the erstwhile Mahama administration several times through his songs.

Sarkodie in his latest song featuring singer Kuami Eugene titled ‘Happy Day’, added his voice to the NPP campaign.

A portion of his lyrics in Twi said “It’s not to suggest I have issues with the government, but when there was ‘Dumsor’, I spoke about it. I also spoke about inflation. So if today I sleep in the light and my children can go to school for free (NPP Free SHS policy), then I salute you. Forgive me. Nana Toaso”.
