The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a planned power outage in parts of the Tema to allow for maintenance works aimed at improving service delivery.
According to a notice issued by ECG, the maintenance exercise will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The company said the exercise will lead to a temporary interruption in electricity supply in McKeon, Sky Quarries, Westrafo and surrounding areas.
ECG explained that the planned maintenance forms part of efforts to enhance the reliability of power supply in the affected communities.
The company also expressed regret over the inconvenience the temporary outage may cause to residents and businesses in the area.
