The Ghana Police Service has successfully resolved an incident involving a broken seal on an electoral material bag in Koforidua, Eastern Region.
The bag, which was intended for distribution to a constituency in the region, triggered concerns after it was found to have a broken seal during routine handling.
The law enforcement agency, in a brief statement, explained the circumstances surrounding the broken seal.
“It has been revealed that when the bags were removed from the armoury, one of the seals was found to be off. It has been established that this occurred as a result of the packing and unpacking of the bags”.
