Ebo Noah granted GH₵100k bail

The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail to Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, in the sum of GH₵100,000, requiring two sureties, one of which must be backed by either a landed property or a vehicle.

Eshun, a 33-year-old private security guard, was previously detained in police custody on January 2, 2026, and was mandated to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at a government facility before his next court appearance.

This order was issued during his appearance before Her Honour Angela Attachie, who had initially scheduled his return for January 15, 2026.

The prosecution indicated that Ebo Noah, through a series of social media videos released between August and December 2025 on platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube under the username @Ebonoah, propagated claims that the world would face destruction by a flood on December 25, 2025.

In these videos, he claimed that he was constructing an ark to rescue individuals from the anticipated calamity.

The case has since been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for further hearing, according to Emmanuel Sarfo, the lawyer representing Ebo Noah.
