Today, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, marked a sombre day as family and friends bid their final goodbye to Justine Mary-Anne Enyonam Agbenu, one of the two 12-year-old victims of the devastating East Legon car crash.
Justine tragically lost her life alongside her friend Maame Dwomoh Boaten in the accident on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
Maame Dwomoh was laid to rest on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
A private burial ceremony was held on Wednesday morning, preceded by a farewell service at Christ the King Catholic Church in Accra.
Videos from the service have surfaced, capturing a sad atmosphere.
One video shows Justine’s remains in a hearse at the church, with wreaths adorning the casket, including one from her mother.
Another video showed the white casket being escorted into the church auditorium.
After a brief prayer led by clergy and family members, the casket was moved to the front of the hall to commence the burial service.
