Drawing against Hearts wasn’t easy- Yaw Preko on Nsoatreman performance

Nsoatreman Football Club head coach Yaw Preko has expressed his satisfaction with his team’s 1-1 draw with Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club.

The Ghana  Premier League fixture had Nsoatreman take the lead in the 13th minute through Stephan Diyou’s strike from a free kick situation.

Hearts hit back almost immediately through a well-executed free kick from Salim Adams in the 16th minute at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The result ended Hearts three game winning run that has spurred The Phobians to third place at the time of writing with 19 points.

Speaking after the game, Yaw Preko highlighted his team’s poor form away from home as a reason for his positive outlook on the game.

“It wasn’t easy…On the road, we’ve been very poor and when you assess all the away matches that we’ve lost, it’s about individual errors so this week, we did a lot of one to one talk.”

“We’ve been on the road and we’ve lost all our matches so us to come to Accra and get a point, it wasn’t easy. Kudos to the boys, they fought, they came out of their shells and they defended very well.”

Nsoatreman rank 10th in the 18 team league standings with 13 points from 12 games.
