Draw the lines between your career and marriage – Gospel artist told

Gospel Musician, Celestine Donkor, has asked her colleagues to separate their careers from their marriages.

The singer’s advice comes on the back of recent happenings between gospel artists and their husbands.

The latest being the tussle between singer Joyce Blessings and her husband-cum -producer, Dave Joy, over her social media pages after their marriage hit the rocks.

“I will advise up and coming musicians to really draw the lines between their career and their marriages because the fact that you may be working with your husband does not mean that you shouldn’t draw the lines”

“Every business has its own principles and its pros and cons, so the paperwork is very important” she added.

She said often times musicians fail to draw the line between their careers and marriages which comes back to haunt them

“If you’re in Africa and you’re working with your husband there is no motivation to put pen to paper, but you see we are humans and we all have our flaws so it is good to draw the lines,” she told Delay in an interview.
