Ablekuma West MP, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has categorically denied reports claiming that food distributed by her team to party agents on election day was rejected by constituents of the Ablekuma West constituency.
Describing the allegations as “reckless and baseless”, the MP dismissed the reports as deliberate fabrications aimed at misleading the public and tarnishing her reputation.
“These false claims lack any factual basis and expose a complete disregard for journalistic ethics, including the principles of fact-checking and accuracy,” she stated in a press release.
Mrs Owusu-Ekuful reaffirmed her commitment to the welfare of her constituents, emphasising that all logistical support provided by her team on election day was warmly received.
She criticised the publication as a “malicious attempt to create division and undermine the trust and unity” she has fostered with her community over the years.
The MP urged her constituents to remain focused on the electoral process and not be distracted by what she described as unfounded propaganda.
She assured supporters of her unwavering dedication to serving Ablekuma West with “integrity, humility, and commitment.”
Concluding her statement, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful declared her confidence in victory, stating, “Winning is a must!”
