A yet-to-be-identified dispatch rider has died in an accident along the Haatso-Atomic road.
The incident occurred on Monday, June 3, 2023.
Information gathered indicates that the dispatch rider collided with a car during his errands.
The dispatch rider fell off the motorcycle and got trapped beneath a Honda Accord car.
The Honda dragged him on the street to a far distance before breaking to a halt.
Tragically, the car caught fire, making it impossible to rescue him in time. The Honda Accord driver and his family escaped safely, but the dispatch rider lost his life in the accident.
The driver who hit the rider fled the scene.
The personnel from the Ghana Police Service and the Ghana National Fire Service were at the scene to put out the fire and convey the body of the dispatch rider to the morgue.
