Dismissal of Coca-Cola MD not planned – Management

Management of Coca Cola bottling company of Ghana Limited says the dismissal of Coca Cola Managing Director(MD) is not related to any planned changes to the business.

The company has maintained that the planned changes in business and dismissal of MD Seth Adu-Baah have nothing to do with the other.

Workers of the Coca Cola, earlier this week embarked on a continuous demonstration demanding the reinstatement of their former MD.

They have been protesting since Monday, January 20, 2020, describing the removal of the Ghanaian MD as unfair.

Following the dismissal, the Assistant Secretary of the local union, George Gyimah Sarpong, accused the HR Manager Angelina Abraham of masterminding the MD’s removal.

According to the Protestors, Mr. Baah has been a major mouthpiece of the workers over the years.
