Diabolic plan of EC officials against NPP exposed in Bawku Central
Reports reaching the Ghanareport indicate that some unscrupulous EC officials in some constituencies have hatched a plan to deny the ruling NPP government votes in some specific constituencies.
The EC officials are accused of allegedly tearing off the upper part of the ballot sheet, which captures the emblem and spot for prospective supporters of the ruling government to thumbprint their ballots.
In the Bawku Central constituency, specifically at the Yirongo Grinding Mill Polling station, some ballot sheets had the number 1 spot maliciously torn off as part of a grand scheme to deny the New Patriotic Party votes in those constituencies.
Executives of the ruling NPP whose attention have been drawn to the incident have since taken to social media to caution supporters of the NPP to ensure that they check their ballot sheets before proceeding to cast their ballots.
Meanwhile, elections expects have intimated that those ballot papers should be considered spoilt during counting.
