A fire outbreak at Odawna, near the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, has razed over 15 wooden structures.
Fortunately, firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) swiftly intervened, preventing the inferno from spreading and causing further damage.
There were no casualties but many properties and the personal beginnings of victims were reduced to ashes.
The incident occurred on Thursday morning, with the cause of the fire still unknown.
The affected area is densely populated, with nearby warehouses potentially vulnerable to the blaze.
This isn’t the first fire incident reported at Odawna; a similar incident occurred in November 2020, destroying goods worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
