COVID-19: 294 recover as cases soar to 2,719

Ghana’s coronavirus case count has seen another leap as 550 people test positive for the deadly virus, bringing the country’s COVID-19 cases to 2,719.

The number of recovered patients currently stands at 294. This means 65 more people have recovered from the deadly coronavirus.

The death toll remains 18, according to the Ghana Health Service’s latest update on the country’s situation.

Greater Accra alone accounts for 2,332 of the cases, followed by Ashanti and Eastern with 124 and 94 cases respectively.

Regions with no infection remains Savannah, Bono, Ahafo and Bono East.
