While some point to a state conspiracy to keep quiet about a case they believed had long been in the country, others are in a tailspin.

The Minister of Health announced Ghana’s first coronavirus case on Monday after 57 suspected infections tested negative.
A Ghanaian and a Norwegian diplomat are the patients the ministry is holding in isolation.
Ghana became the sixth African country and the 12th African nation to report the virus, which has since January seen a surge across the world when the first case was recorded in China.
