Coronavirus: Educate people in the local dialects – Edem

 

A Ghanaian rapper, Edem,  has reached out to his colleagues and other public figures complement the efforts of government by using the local dialects to educate people on the protective measures of combating the deadly novel coronavirus.

According to him, many people who did not have a grasp of the English Language were missing out on the education carried out by the Health Ministry on the virus.

“It looks like non-English-speaking people are being misinformed,” he wrote on Instagram.

Walking the talk, Edem posted a video on his social media handles educating people on coronavirus and how to protect themselves in Ewe – his mother tongue.

There have been concerns on how to communicate the coronavirus protective measures to people who are speech impaired among others.
