Constitution review committee revises stakeholder engagement schedule
The Constitution Review Committee has revised its stakeholder engagement schedule following the government’s declaration of the Eid-Ul-Fitr holidays.
In a statement issued on Sunday, March 23, by the Secretary of the Committee, Rainer Akumperigya, the Committee expressed its appreciation to individuals and institutions that participated in previous engagements, particularly those under the thematic clusters of natural resources, local government, and decentralization.
Their contributions, according to the statement, were instrumental in fostering meaningful discussions on constitutional reforms.
The Constitution Review Committee remains committed to ensuring broad-based consultations and encourages all stakeholders to take note of the upcoming changes and continue to engage in the review process.
