Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin ends stay with Aduana Stars

Aduana Stars head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin has left the club following the expiration of his contract on February 14.

The former Asante Kotoko SC and Hearts of Oak trainer signed a one-year deal with the Dormaa-based side in February 2020 with an option to extend but the 61-year-old has opted against continuing with the two-time league champions.

According to the report, Fabin took the decision not to extend his contract following the management of the club’s failure to strengthen his squad after his several pleas for new signings.

Aduana Stars are currently 6th on the Ghana Premier League log, 4 points off current leaders Karela United after fourteen games this season.

Fabin’s last game as coach of Aduana came against Dreams Fc in Dawu last weekend which he lost 4-2.

The former Ghana U17 coach has been linked with a move to King Faisal Babes and the deal is expected to be sealed in the coming days.

Assistant coach of Aduana, W.O Tandoh takes over in the interim.
