Clemento Suarez crowned best Comedian on Twitter

Born Clement Ashiyete, popularly known as Clemento Suarez, has been crowned Ghana’s favourite comedian.

Suarez won the title ahead of colleague comic actors Lawyer Nti, DKB and OB Amponsah.

The competition was staged on social media by MTN Ghana which sought to ascertain from Ghanaian Twitter users their favourite comedian among the selected four.

Clemento Suarez emerged the winner garnering 83 per cent of the total votes cast of 24,042.

Following up with 8 per cent was stand up comedian, DKB. Lawyer Nti and OB Amponsah placed 3rd and 4th respectively with 6 and 4 per cent.

This general affection for Clemento Suarez comes as no surprise since the comic actor in recent weeks has been phenomenal and sensational in his craft. His comedy skits and ingenuity, especially his intriguing ‘coronavirus poem’ has been the talk of town in the past several weeks.
