CJ calls for docket on Osafo Maafo vs Domelevo
The case between the Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Maafo and the Auditor-General has been adjourned indefinitely.
This was after the Chief Justice, Justice Kwesi Anin Yeboah, called for the docket on the case, the trial judge Doreen Boakye Agyei has disclosed.
Myjoyonline.com has reported that the judge explained the Chief Justice called for the docket as a result of a petition to his office.
The nature and details of the petition are not immediately available.
Justice Boakye Agyei has however directed lawyers to track the progress of the case at the registrar’s office, myjoyonline.com has reported.
Daniel Domelevo has slapped a $1m surcharge on Yaw after he wrongfully caused government to pay the money to a UK-based consultancy firm, Kroll and Associates.

The Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Maafo noted the Auditor-General (A-G) Daniel Domelevo had failed to file his reply to him in court within the stipulated time.
