Samuel Koblah Narh, the District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost in the Central Region, was shot in his home during a robbery on Friday night.
The armed robbers escaped with Pastor Narh’s Toyota RAV4, registered GW 545-22, and his mobile phones.
According to police investigations, the robbers had hidden in front of his home, waiting for an opportunity to strike.
The incident occurred when Pastor Narh was returning from an evening service. As his son opened the main gates, the robbers entered the house, opening fire to intimidate the family while demanding the keys to the vehicle.
A church elder, Godfred Viglo, who spoke to Adom News disclosed that one of the stray bullets hit Pastor Narh in the shoulder.
He was initially taken to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for first aid before being transferred to Church of Pentecost Hospital, Madina for further treatment.
