The Ghana Premier League transfer window closed on Monday, 22 August 2022, with several signings expected to bring incitement to the field in the new season.

Ahead of the 2022/23 league season, the transfer window was officially opened on 1 July and has since seen various league clubs busy on the market.

While some clubs sought to improve their squads, others were eager to cash out on players.

Champions Asante Kotoko added 13 new players to their squad while FA Cup winners Hearts of Oak completed the signings of 10 players, which includes the final day capture of Maxwell Abbey Quaye from Great Olympics.

In all, Medeama SC signed 16 players for the upcoming campaign, making the Tarkwa- based team one with the most transfers.

The likes of Accra Lions, Karela United and Legon Cities were the teams with the least transfers with one transfer each.
