Check out Pictures of ‘Renovated’ Baba Yara Sports Stadium
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium has undergone a major renovation exercise for the past nineteen (19) months following its deplorable state.
The 40,000 seater capacity stadium became a death trap edifice which led to its closure by the Government of Ghana last year.
Earlier last week, the Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif embarked on a general inspection exercise at the refurbished Baba Yara Sports Stadium which is almost ready to host football matches for the upcoming season.
Premier League sides Asante Kotoko and King Faisal as well as Division One League outfit Asokwa Deportivo will have access to use the edifice for their 2021/22 season’s campaign.
Last season, Asante Kotoko played their home matches at Accra Sports Stadium and Obuasi Len Clay Stadium whilst King Faisal hosted their matches at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman
