Chelsea Football Club Director of Football, David Barnard, has stated that his club has no fear after getting drawn against defending UEFA Champions League champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the Round of 16 stage.
The draw was conducted on Friday, February 27 with the Blues set to play the French Champions who double as the defending champions of Europe’s premier football competition.
The first legs of the round of 16 stage games will be played on March 10 and March 11 with the second legs taking place on March 17 and March 18. (Scroll down to view full breakdown)
One of the standout ties in the draw had Manchester City drawn against Real Madrid and speaking after the draw was concluded, David Barnard stated according to the BBC, “It’ll be tough but it holds no fear for us.”

Chelsea qualified automatically to the round of 16 stage but PSG qualified via the playoff route; PSG beat AS Monaco 5-4 on aggregate over two legs in all French team tie.
