Some traders at Abura Market in Cape Coast North constituency say they have rescinded their decision not to vote for the New Patriotic Party in the 2020 general elections.

The women claim the reversal of their decision follows the reinstatement of the 1st Regional Chair, Horace Ekow Ewusie, who was suspended by the regional executive a couple of weeks ago.

Horace Ekow Ewusie, on Friday, September 6, visited women of Abura Market in Cape Coast, days after his suspension was overturned.

The visit saw him interact with the market women where he also made some donations.

Some of the women, out of joy, knelt before the NPP chairman and expressed warm approval of the gesture.

‘We were readying ourselves not to vote for NPP again but because of your kind gesture, we will reconsider our position,’ one of the elated market women spoke in Twi.
