Camidoh apologises for saying ‘Nigerian women are open-minded than Ghanaian counterparts’
Ghanaian afrobeats singer, Camidoh has offered sincere apologises for his comment which sought to offer his view about the differences between Nigerian and Ghanaian ladies.
The singer apologised during an interview with Nana Ama McBrown on Onua Showtime, Friday, October 11.
Camidoh who was a guest recently on a podcast show, Rants, Bants and Confession stated that Nigerian women are open-minded than their Ghanaian counterparts.
“Nigerian women are more exposed to whatever. It’s easy for a Nigerian woman to understand certain things a Ghanaian woman will not understand…there are topic that you talk about and Ghanaian women will be like eeeiiii, but Nigerian women understand and they are abreast with whatever is happening in the world,” he said on the show.
The artiste subsequently received backlash on social media for making such comparison.
Camidoh noted that his intention was not to demean Ghanaian ladies.
“I wasn’t necessarily insulting Ghanaian women…if this is how it came across then I’m sorry because I love my people, I love my Ghanaian women and they are supportive…I correct myself, pardon me,” he apologised.
