Okay FM’s morning show host, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese has lashed out at the board chairman of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Prof. Stephen Adei for over stepping his boundaries.
Prof. Adei, according to, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese should know better with regards to the roles and duties of a board chairman since he’s been a former rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) an institution that teaches institutional management.
“Prof Adei needs to be called to order, he can’t be over stepping his boundaries as a board chairman, he is just a board chairman and not the Commissioner General or Commissioner of Customs, he should know where his power ends” he said.
Kwame Nkrumah Tikese’s backlash comes on the back of recent directive by the Tema Regional Customs Division of GRA to all officers to adhere to the directives of the board chairman.
Prof. Adei in a recent directive asked all officers to re-direct all purported protocol clearance goods to his office.
According to him, the move is a measure to block revenue leakages and any officer who fails to adhere to such directive will have him/herself to blame but the Radio Personality thinks it is not in Prof. Adei’s dominion to give such orders.
“The Tema regional command is not supposed to take orders from the board chairman and it is not in Prof’s power to give such orders, he needs to be called to order”
