The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee will convene a virtual meeting on today, June 21, 2024, at 14:00 GMT, chaired by President Patrice Motsepe.
The meeting aims to address various topics, including the scheduling of upcoming continental championships.
Although CAF previously denied rumors of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco 2025 being rescheduled, the official dates for the competition remain unconfirmed.
The draw for the qualifiers is set to take place next month, marking the beginning of the journey for African teams to compete in Morocco in 2025.
Notably, the last two tournaments were postponed by a year due to the impact of COVID-19 on the 2021 edition and the recent AFCON, which was held in 2024 instead of 2023.
