C.K. Akunnor sacked from Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has fired their head coach Charles Kwablan Akunnor weeks after leading them to secure CAF Champions League qualification.

The former Black Stars captain confirmed the news on a local radio station saying “Yes it’s true, I am no more the coach of Kotoko. I have been asked to step aside and take over as technical director. I can’t comment.”
