Bow Wow to retire from music
While conversing with his fans during a recent Q&A on Twitter, rapper and reality star Bow Wow spoke on his plans to retire in the near future.
In 2016, the Ohio native revealed that he was working on his next album, which he says will also be his last.
On Monday (May 18), a fan asked Bow Wow if he’s still considering exiting the rap game once his next project drops.
He confirmed that is indeed his plan though he isn’t entirely done with music just yet.
The 33-year-old shared that he’s shifting his hustle more towards film and television so that he can spend additional time with his 9-year-old daughter, Shai Moss.
“I have to get Shai ready,” he wrote. “She wants to follow in my footsteps so I have to shift my hustle. She’s next up! We are going to own TV and film. [A] daddy-daughter duo like no other!”
And that’s not all.
While he was bummed that The Millennium Tour was sidelined by the coronavirus pandemic, Bow Wow hinted that he and Omarion have something else up their sleeves.
When another fan asked for a status update on a sequel to their fan-favorite 2007 collaborative project, the “Shortie Like Mine” rapper shared that he has actually been in the studio with O. “Might drop it soon not sure. I gotta call ‘em today,” he responded.
Fans got their answer a few short hours later when the Growing Up Hip Hop star returned to Twitter to confirm the two might potentially be dropping a collaborative project sometime in 2020.
While he didn’t reveal whether or not the project would be called Face Off 2, the two previously went on Rap Radar back in February where they hinted at the sequel’s eventual arrival.
