Black Stars pays courtesy call on Access Bank ahead of world cup qualifiers

The national football team, Ghana Black Stars have paid a courtesy call on Black Stars pays courtesy call on Access Bank ahead of world cup qualifiers ahead of their World Cup Qualifiers slated for Thursday, 6th June 2024.

The visit further cements the bond between Access Bank (Ghana) Plc, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Black Stars.

The team, together with some officials from the GFA met the Managing Director of the bank, Olumide Olatunji; Executive Director of Digital and Retail Banking, Pearl Nkrumah, Group Head of Retail Banking, Matilda Asante-Asiedu; Group Head of Corporate Communication and Brand Management, Oluwaseun Daviid-Akindele.

Addressing the players, Olumide appreciated the team for their dedication in lifting the flag of Ghana high.

Thursday, we wish you the very best,” he said.

On her part, addressing the Black Stars players, Group Head of Retail Banking, Matilda Asante-Asiedu said “Access Bank presently operates through more than 700 branches

Speaking on behalf of his team members, Captain of the Black Stars, Thomas Partey thanked Access Bank for the support over the years.

Access Bank is the official Banking partner of the Ghana Black Stars and the title sponsor of the Division One League. This underscores the Bank’s commitment to promoting
grassroots sports in Ghana as this is in line with its focus on sports as an institution.
