Black Stars management committee ‘Don’t Listen’ – Anthony Yeboah
Former Ghanaian striker Anthony Yeboah is furious with the Black Stars management committee, accusing them of ignoring advice from former players like himself.
This comes after Ghana failed to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Yeboah believes that the management committee doesn’t value the input of those who have been there before, and instead, disregards their advice.
“The current management of the Black Stars does not value or act on the advice we, as former players, offer,” he said in an interview.
The Black Stars’ hopes were crushed after a 1-1 draw against Angola, leaving them bottom in Group F with just three points. Even a win in their final game against Niger won’t change their fate, as Sudan has already secured seven points and is ahead of them in the standings.
This marks the first time in 21 years that Ghana will miss the Africa Cup of Nations, a devastating blow to the team and its fans.
