Black Stars’ Kudus Mohammed picks Player of the Month nomination
Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed has been shortlisted for Danish SuperLiga Young Player of the month for June.
Kudus was named for the prestigious accolade alongside Morten Frendrup of Brøndby IF, F.C. Copenhagen forward Mohamed Daramy and Odense Boldklub duo Max Fenger and Mads Frøkjær-Jensen for their splendid performances in the Danish SuperLiga last month.
The talented attacking midfielder scored twice in his five appearances for FC Nordsjaelland in June.
The former Right to Dream Academy graduate is currently one of the best young players in world football following his exploits with FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish SuperLiga.
He has emerged as a top summer transfer target for several top-flight clubs in Europe including Broussia Dortmund, Tottenham Hotspurs, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, Olympique Marseille, Sampdoria, Everton, Newcastle United among others.
Kudus has scored eleven goals in his 25 appearances for FC Nordsjaelland in the ongoing season.
Following his explosive performance at the Danish club, Kudus has been shortlisted for the 2020 Golden Boy Award.
He scored on his debut for the Black Stars of Ghana in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa
