Black Stars begin training ahead of AFCON qualifiers with Sudan
The Black Stars have begun camping with players who have arrived in Ghana ahead of Thursday’s AFCON qualifier with Sudan at the Cape Coast stadium.
The training at the McDan La town park on Monday saw 10 players in action.
The players were captain Andre Ayew and brother Jordan Ayew, Emmanuel Lomotey, and Afriyie Acquah.
The rest are John Antwi, Razak Abalora, Tariq Fosu, Kwadwo Amoako, Samuel Owusu, and Nicholas Opoku.
The remaining players are expected to arrive in Ghana today to boost coach CK Akunnor’s squad as he seeks to continue with the teams flying start to the qualifiers following victories against South Africa and São Tomé and Principe in November 2019.
Ghana is currently on top of Group C in the AFCON qualifiers with (6) points.
