Black Stars assistant coach Didi Dramani set for Black Galaxies coaching job – Reports

Black Stars assistant coach Didi Dramani is set to be named as the new head coach of the Black Galaxies, according to local media reports.

The home-based national team is currently without a head coach following the exit of Annor Walker after the CHAN tournament in Algeria.

The Black Galaxies bowed out of the CHAN tournament following a 2-0 defeat to Niger in the quarter-finals.

Earlier reports suggested former Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum who served as assistant to Annor Walker will be handed the job.

But according to Kumasi-based Kessben FM, the narrative has changed as the Ghana Football Association intends to appoint Didi Dramani for the Black Galaxies job.

Didi Dramani has been tasked to monitor players in the local scene, however, the Ghana FA wants him to take over the home-based national team so he can recommend players for the Black Stars.

He will combine both the Black Stars assistant coach and Black Galaxies coaching job.
