Black Sheriff nominated for 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards
Fast-rising Ghanaian rapper Black Sheriff has secured his first global nomination as he was shortlisted for the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards.
He is set to compete for the Best International Flow category, which has UK’s Knucks, South Africa’s Blxckie , France’s Benjamin Epps, Le Juice also from France, Central Cee from the UK, Nadia Nakai from Zimbabwe, Tasha and Tracie from Brazil and Haviah Mighty from Canada.
Black Sherrif is the only Ghanaian nominated for the 2022 edition of the BET Hip hop Awards.
In the cord of sermons, Black Sheriff took over the music landscape with touchy hooks and clauses that have gotten many to sing along.
He’s got a number of local and international collaborations with the likes of Amerado burner, Burna Boy, Darkoo and many others. ‘The Traveler’ continues his journey to the BET, hoping to bring home the award.
The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards is scheduled to take place on September 30, 2022, at Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta.
Iconic Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie was the first musician to grab the award, as it is a new category.
The Tema-born rapper received the award at the 2019 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Hip Hop Awards at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta.
